I`m popping up

I volunteered to do a craft workshop at our church. I`ve been wanting to make a pop up box card for some time and this was my excuse to have a go. I love kinetic cards and had seen these kind of cards being made on Create and Craft. This is the card I came up with. It was good fun to make.

I enjoyed making the card so much that I made my husband one for his birthday.
He really loves it and it stands in pride of place on top of the television.

My next challenge was to make some wedding invitations for our son Femi. I have never made a lot of cards in bulk like this. I  made a few prototypes and he choose the one he liked. I managed to make 90 cards in about 10 days using my trusty Big Shot. Every spare moment I was cutting and sticking.
This was the production line in process...
and this is the finished card, or one of many!!
I had to keep it fairly simple because of the quantity. I really put my die cutting machine through it`s paces and it stood up to the job. My husband was very supportive of my cutting and sticking efforts and our son was pleased with the results.

Cardio

Here are some of my recent cards. I bought a magazine with a lovely owl stamp and made a whole parliament of owls!

I made this card for my Father in law for father`s day.
