Delicious Digis by Rare Earth

Rare Earth have just developed a USB stick full of delightful digital images. The designs include animals, everyday, fantasy and floral and sentiments and I`m sure everyone will find some designs to suit them. They are an amazing range and could be used in so many different ways. So far, I have used them to make cards but the sizes can be changed and they can be used in graphics programmes and the possibilities are endless!! A lot of the designs have been used for their Screen Sensations and they are really sensational. I love them all.
I used the rabbit because we are coming up to Easter. The background paper is from the Tattered Lace magazine.

I really loved colouring this picture and used some glossy accent on the wings.

I could not resist this llama!! I wanted it to be vibrant so I used some paper coloured with tissue paper for the background.

This is one of the shoes from the Everyday category and the flower is from the floral selection. I used a metallic gel pens for the dots and pixie powders to colour the flower.
The penguins could be used for Mother`s Day but I chose "chill " from the sentiments. I made the background by printing bubbles I made with paint.

I like these zen tangled animals. I decided to make it a fantasy design and the background was created using pixie powders with crumpled cling film which gives fine metallic lines on the paper, which are not really visible in this picture.

I chose a single flower in a jam jar which could be used for a variety of occasions. I printed more flowers for the insert. The background is from Tatttered Lace magazine.

I had to chose the unicorn cat designed by Hels. It is so quirky and different. I cut the cat in half and arranged the head and tail so it looks as though the body goes all the way around the back of the card.

I used oxide inks on the paper and then highlighted the flowers using pencil crayons and alcohol inks.

I love this giraffe. He has sooo much character and is a lovely design to colour.

I used the crab and some shells on some torn paper. Summer is coming!!

I decoupaged the head of the lion to give some dimension and used some glittery animals skin card to give it some bling.

I  love dragonflies and used glossy accents to make it stand out. The flowers are from the floral sections and were coloured with pixie powders.

This is a close up of the dragonfly. I would make a lovely brroch.

This unicorn is so cute. I used acetate to make it look as though it is flying. There are several unicorn is the fantasy section.

This VW is so much fun and takes us back to the 60`s. I made an easel card with the VW sticking out.  The Groovy sentiment and guitar on the record is also on the usb. The background is from the Tattered Lace magazine. I am looking forward to having time to experiment more with these designs because they are lovely and really versatile.

Rare Earth Bake Sale

The Rare Earth Bake Sale range includes Afternoon tea, Chocolate heaven, Sweet tooth and labels and wraps. They can be used to make cards, home decor etc to celebrate so many occasions. I am enclosing the designs that I made using the stamps.
I used pencil crayons on many of the designs because I like the look it gives with these stamps. The doily behind the cakes is also one of the stamps that comes in this collection. They make you feel hungry just looking at these scrumptious cakes.

I love chocolate so I had fun with the Chocolate Heaven stamps. I put as much chocolate as possible on this card!!

Piles of pretty cups always look sweet and this stamp is no exception.

I used the stamps to make the background papers as well as the toppers and inked around the edges to give them definition.

The labels can be used as sentiments on the cards. This chocolate cake looks especially sumptious.

I usewd the doily design for the background and for a stand for the cake.

This tea set is so elegant and looks the kind that is only brought out for special occasions.

I also used the tea set for the inside to create a lovely pop-up effect. A couple of tabs keeps the pop-ups in place.
A simple card with matching slices of cake.

I stamped the cherries in a similar colour to the card to give a subtle effect. A friend with chocolate is always welcome!!

This is the pop-up on the inside of the card. The box of chocolates looks very enticing. The good thing is that they don`t contain calories.

I used one of the labels stamps for the background and another cake and macaroons for the toppers.

The cake stand comes with a lot of stamps to fill it to your heart`s content.

I love this cup and saucer with the cream on the top. It looks really scrummy!!

I managed to stamp onto angelina fibre, using paper to protect the stamp from the iron. The stamps were not damaged at all.

I did some more stamping onto angelina fibre and then sewed the designs onto a plain bag to make it into something special.

These are the close-ups of the stamping onto Angelina Fibre. I used the Rare Earth Pitch Black ink pad.

I like the way the stamping and heat give the design some dimension.
