Path Of Light

The path of light stamps from rare Earth are very versatile and  can be used in a variety of ways. This is a hexagon pop-up card using die from Tattered Lace.  The background is using a faux batik technique. The card is inked stamped and embossed and then further layers of ink added.
I stamped onto a CD and used the pebeo mixed media paints to get interesting effects to make this hanger.

This next card is a pop-up box card filled with flowers and with butterlies and the decorative moon at the back. The sentiments that accomany these stamp sets have a lovely font.

This is a closer up view of the flowers. These were shaped with a ball tool to give them some dimension.
The rocker card below were created from Tattered Lace dies with a few flowers added for decoration. The sentiment little by little fits in with the times we are living in at the moment.

This is a gatefold cut out card. I like the contast of the orange with the blue and the way the butterfly looks as though it is gliding through the air.

This is another foldback card with cutout. I enjoyed using the roses from the set which feature on a number of the cards and the cutout section helps give the feeling that the butterfly is actually flying.

I made this easel card displying som more of the rsoes, which can look dimensional when coloured in.
Another easel card, again featuring the roses but within an oval frame this time.
I used flowers to frame the sentiment, on the inside of the card, with acetate to give the card dimension and added strength.

The moon neatly sits on the insdie of the sun when the central portion of the sun is cut. We were really hoping for the sun when I made this card.

This is another half fold with cut out which help focus on the hummingibrd  flying across the centre.

I used inks for the background and added the stars in white. The small moon is suspended on thin thread in the cetre of the cutout circle.
These swirls give an eastern feel to this card. I added a few stickers to add to the effects.

Think positive is what we need to do right no and is a useful sentiment for many occasions. I used an inky background and the much loved roses.

It is lovely to be able to co-ordinate cards with the packaging for a present and this can be easily done with these stamps. I used the hummingbird and sun on this occasion.
